August 2011 Meeting
Our next meeting is scheduled for August 16, 2011 at 6:30 pm, at the Library Center in Springfield, Mo. The address for is:

The meeting will start at 6:30 pm, but the doors will be open at 6:00 pm to give everyone a chance to network with the SW MO project management community. This month’s speaker will be Matt Savage, PMP, MBA. Matt is a Director of Software Engineering and Services for ProfitStars, a division of Jack Henry & Associates.
Remember, this will be a PDU event. Attendees will earn 1 PDU. Individuals involved in project management in all industries are welcome and encouraged to attend. You DO NOT have to be PMI certified or a PMI member to attend. Project Managers of all industries are welcome and encouraged to attend.
A little more about this month’s speaker:
Matt Savage is a Director of Software Engineering and Services at ProfitStars, a division of Jack Henry & Associates. He currently manages development and services for ProfitStars Business Intelligence products and leads the ProfitStars Integration Competency Center. The ICC’s mission is to integrate the development and delivery of ProfitStars products & services by managing the portfolio and incrementally transforming the organization towards utilization of common processes, technology, and resources. Matt is a certified Project Management Professional and a PMI member. His background includes management of information technology projects at Jack Henry & Associates, H&R Block, and Sprint Corporation. He has a BSBA in Computer Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri.
