I would like to invite everyone to PM SWMo’s first lunch meeting. Our May lunch meeting will be held on May 17, 2011 at 12:00 pm at the Springfield Pasta Company. The doors will open at 11:30 am for networking and lunch orders (lunch will be on your own) with the presentation starting at 12:00 pm.

This month’s speaker will be NK Shrivastava, PMP, PMI-RMP, who be presenting a session on “Troubled Project Recovery”

Narendra (NK) Shrivastava, PMP, PMI-RMP, is VP of services at FARRAGUT Services (www.farragutservices.com), a division of Farragut Systems. His core capability is keeping large, complex software projects on track while managing and mentoring teams of project managers. NK specializes in the recovery of troubled projects through careful planning and risk management. NK also provides management consulting, coaching and mentoring to his customers on risk management and other related areas. NK has been associated with PMI since 1999 when he was certified as PMP. He serves as VP of Marketing and Communication at the Southwest Missouri Chapter of PMI. NK has made several presentations on Project Management related topics at various meetings/conferences/seminars.

Remember, this will be a PDU event. Attendees will earn 1 PDU. Individuals involved in project management in all industries are welcome and encouraged to attend. You DO NOT have to be PMI certified or a PMI member to attend. Project Managers of all industries are welcome and encouraged to attend.
