March 2011 Meeting
Our next meeting is scheduled for March 15, 2011 at 6:30 pm, in Room 114 at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Mo. The address for Assemblies of God Theological Seminary is:

Please park the south side of the building and come in through the front doors. As a special treat, AGTS will be catering in Rib-Crib for this month’s meeting, so please RSVP so we can have an accurate count of attendees. A very special thanks goes out to Tim Baum and AGTS for sponsoring the March meeting.
The meeting will start at 6:30 PM, but the doors open at 6:00 to give everyone a chance to “meet and greet”
This month’s speaker will be Dennis Wallace PMP, who will be presenting the session “Incorporating Project Management into operation of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers multipurpose lake project with emphasis on Procurement Management.”
Dennis is a 30 year employee of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District. He has experience at 5 different Kansas City District Lakes and currently the Operations Project Manager at Harry S. Truman Dam & Reservoir. Dennis has been involved with Project Management for about 10 years and received his PMP certification in January, 2009. During his free time he enjoy spending time with his family and hunting and fishing.
Remember, this will be a PDU event. Attendees will earn 1 PDU. Individuals involved in project management in all industries are welcome and encouraged to attend. You DO NOT have to be PMI certified or a PMI member to attend. Project Managers of all industries are welcome and encouraged to attend.
