Bear South Parking Garage

Below is a map of these locations (Bear South Parking Garage is #1 and Kemper Hall is #2)

There will be chapter volunteers in the parking garage to hand out parking passes. Please be sure to obtain and display your parking pass or you will be subject to ticketing. A spcial thinksto Dr. Callahan for arranging our meeting location this month!

The meeting will start at 6:30 PM, but the doors open at 6:00 to give everyone a chance to “meet and greet” fellow attendees.

This month’s speaker will be Melba Throne and will be presenting the session “Effective Meetings 101”. Melba has been with ANPAC since 1976, in IT since 1981, managing projects since 1985, and earned her PMP in 2007.

Melba created a presentation she calls Effective Meetings 101 because she was annoyed at how many ineffective meetings she attended. Worse yet was the realization that some of the meetings she called were ineffective! So what makes an effective meeting? If you are ever responsible for leading meetings, come join us to see if we can clear that up for you. The agenda for the meeting is attached.

Bring your own pet peeves or challenges and we’ll see what ideas we can come up with for solutions.

Remember, this will be a PDU event. Attendees will earn 1 PDU. Individuals involved in project management in all industries are welcome and encouraged to attend. You DO NOT have to be PMI certified or a PMI member to attend. Project Managers of all industries are welcome and encouraged to attend.

If you plan to attend, please submit your registration information below. Reservations are not required, but greatly appreciated.
